I'm helping lead the way to find a cure for the first survivor by joining the Humboldt County Walk To End Alzheimer’s on October 8, 2022. My dad lived with dementia for 30 years, long before anyone knew what it was. There was no information, support groups or resources available to help my family navigate this journey. When I learned about the Alzheimer’s Association, I knew I had to get involved to help educate people and advocate for families living with this horrible disease.
