Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
This year, for the first time, the FDA has approved new drugs that treat the underlying cause of Alzheimer's instead of just addressing the symptoms. We're doing it, my friends! We're making a difference!
I'm working to fight Alzheimer's because I lost my wife, Sue, 15 years ago this coming Christmas, and it is my goal to save others from that terrible journey. I hope to meet a person who was cured of Alzheimer's or other dementia. On that day, I will know that our efforts have succeeded! Please join me.
