I am walking to honor three important women in my life - my mother-in-law, Theresa Marie Cyr Libby; my grandmother, Helen Dorothy Matson Mufic; and my Mom, Catherine Frances Mufic Vrbanac. All three of them had dementia in later life. These three women were always strong and an inspiration to me, so now I want to honor their memory and work towards finding a cure for Alzheimer's. Please join me in the fight!
Update: Our Mother, Catherine, passed away on November 8, 2019. The cruel disease of Alzheimer's stole the last 15 years of her life. Mom is now at peace, but we will continue the fight to cure Alzheimer's in her memory, and the memory of all those with this dreaded disease. We thank you for your compassion, and your ongoing involvement and support in this effort!
