My name is Katelynn Anderson, I am 16 years old and my great grandmother died with Alzheimer's when I was 6 months old. I participated in my first walk when I was 8 months old and have continued to every year since. Last year was my fifth year being a volunteer and participate for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. July 2018 my 98-year-old grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s entered heaven. My family and I were spending every Wednesday evening with her and I saw how horrible this disease is. I want to get the word out about this awful disease and help bring awareness to a world without Alzheimer's.

This year my goal is to raise $2,500.

 In 2019 I  represented the white flower as a symbol of the first survivor during our walk.
