This is my 13th year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. I made a promise to myself in 2011 that I would walk every year until they find a cure. I feel blessed that my mom "Memar", who is my inspiration and original reason for walking, has been able to join me on every one of those Walks. However, this past year the disease is really taking over my mom's mind. It is very hard to watch the decline. I pray in the near future that others will not need to go through this experience. We cannot stop the fight! We need to keep pushing forward to find a cure! You can do your part by making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment and ultimately to find a CURE for Alzheimer's.
