I have a personal connection to this disease, and as a result, I’ve been compelled to be of service in volunteering in just about any way that’s available - I volunteer in the regional office, I serve on multiple committees, I organize and attend awareness and fundraising functions, and I advocate on behalf of the association with state and national lawmakers.
