Our family lost our dear mother and beloved wife Terrie on January 2, 2023 to dementia. She was 78 years old and had only been diagnosed with dementia for one year. We watched as her dementia progressed rapidly, taking not only her memories but her personality and physical capabilities as well. Dementia is a terrible disease. Her suffering is now over. Mom and dad were married 57 years and had six children, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
