I am one of Sylvia's Kids. Mom had Alzheimer's...it took her from us too soon. But more than that, it took away her memories and her ability to make sense of her world. Mom was the center around which her children and grandchildren gathered to celebrate holidays and just getting together. To honor her... we continue to get together every year, to raise money and awareness of this disease...and to honor mom. She was always our family glue and continues to be. We love you mom.
And mom left lots of grandkids...who now have their own children. It is time to stop this disease so the coming generations do not have to worry about getting it or needing to be a caregiver. A can be found! Please help us obtain that goal.
