Alzheimer's is one of the scariest things I can think of in the world. Watching your loved ones forget who you are... it's excrutiating. It is happening with one of my mom's best friends. Someone I grew up with. Someone I look up to. One of the smartest, funniest, kindest, most creative, and supportive men I've ever known. He doesn't remember us now, but I'm doing this to honor Gordon.
