Gary was nicknamed Wiz because he could fix anything from computers to helicopters. You name it, he could build it. Sadly, Alzheimer’s stole these hobbies from him. Gary retired from the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, where he swore to protect the citizens of our community. Now it is our turn to protect him, and give him the strength he needs. The relationship and memories we have with Gary still exist, and we will cherish and share them as often as we can. Alzheimer’s affects everyone it comes in contact with, but we refuse to let it win. Please join us in September to help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. If you don't have a team, please consider joining ours.
