In 2018, we lost my mom to complications from Alzheimer's disease. If I am being honest, we lost her several years before that. She was a beautiful, vibrant, high-energy person who was robbed of her golden years. Mom should have been traveling, enjoying her grandchildren and living her best life instead of struggling with memory loss.
I am blessed to work with others who are in a similar situation. I see a bit of my mom in each person I encounter at work. It is for all of them, my mom and my new friends, that I walk to End Alzheimer's. Will you please join our walk? Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
