My Mom passed away in April 2016 after a nearly 7 year affliction with dementia. Our team name, J & J's Memory Keepers, is to honor not only my Mom Joanne, but also Jack - who is the Dad of my friend Robin who walks with me each year.

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
