This Fall, I will be participating in an event called "Row to End Alzheimer's" since I won't be able to walk with the group on October 1. My grandmother suffered terribly from dementia at the end of her life. I was totally aware of the costs to this very active and creative woman since she lived with my family during my growing-up years. The toll on my mother caring for her was enormous. It is ironic, then, that at the end of my mother's life, she also suffered from Alzheimer's - ironic, but not surprising. I would love to raise a ton of money to help with research and service to Alzheimer's afflicted families, like our friend Stu and Cheryl Miller. Stu is a great friend of ours and a rower who has been battling Alzheimer's for the past 7+ years and whom I am honoring in this fundraiser. Since your family has probably been touched by this disabling disease, I would love it if you donated through my page
Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
