I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
- My inspiration for participating in this "Walk to End Alzheimer's" is in honor of my Parents: Romulo & Dora Garcia who were both diagnosed with Dementia a few years ago. My beautiful mother passed on Easter 2019 and My Father passed this past October. My sister Annette and I have been their caregivers the past 7 years. We miss them dearly.
- I'm proud that "Arlington Today" is a sponsor for this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's in Arlington. We are looking forward to our walk and we would love your support. We hope and pray we can end this specific disease that slowly and irreversibly destroys memory and thinking skills. It is a very cruel disease and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Let's do this together and make a difference! Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
