Unfortunately most of us know someone that has been touched by Alzheimers Disease. My wife Peggy Oalmann passed away in November 2021 after a 17 year battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. She was formally diagnosed at the age of 50. She was totally bed bound and unable to communicate for a decade. Believe me, this is a terrible disease!!! The Katy Alzheimer's Walk is September 24, 2022 at La Centerra. Please consider making a donation to Team Peggy to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's Disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
