Alzheimer's isn't waiting, and neither am I. I'm participating in the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer's to raise awareness about the disease and to get the funds to find a cure.
In the 11 years with the Walk to End Alzheimer's(tm), I walk knowing that my husband Jerry, my mother Faye and my father-in-law Cornelius will be remembered. This year I'm walking for my sister Phyllis. We really need to find a cure for this terrible disease.. Every year watching more of my family and friends being diagnosed with this disease is more the reason to do the walk.
Every year more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
