Friends,
A big part of why I raise money for the Alzheimer's Association is in memory of my mom, Lorraine. She was such a strong, independent woman, in spite of being blind for the last 30+ years of her life. She had minor vascular dementia - but nothing like some of the other individuals she lived with at her long term care community. Some of those were truly heartbreaking to witness. I want to be part of the solution for this disease.
Thank you for supporting the Alzheimer's Association and my Walk! Everything we can do to further the work of the Association and the research toward prevention or a cure is worth it. Your help is making a difference for current and future generations.
