I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
Four years ago we started the team "The Forgotten Notes" to honor my wife, Laura, who has been dealing with Alzheimer's for almost 20 years. I have been so pleased with the number of family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and former students who generously donated to this cause the past few years. I thank all of you who donated and/or walked with us to help find a cure to Alzheimer's. This year I am hoping more people will join our team to honor their loved ones who have dealt with this disease.
My wife has been in a nursing home for more than five years and she is extremely confused. At only age 74, she is now in a wheel chair fulltime. Covid-19 had prevented me from being with her for almost a year and I think that has accelerated her decline. I thank God that I am now with her daily and she still knows me. Having this disease at an early age has created many great challenges for our family, but God has given us the grace to meet those challenges. I am also thankful for the wonderful caregivers and the Christians who have been praying for us. God is good! Your donations to help find a cure for this terrible disease are appreciated.
Thank you for helping advance Alzheimer's support, care and research.
