Nearly a decade ago, my Grandma Marilyn was in the midst of her Alzheimer's journey. It was a rough road and I felt helpless watching my Grandpa George care for her. One day while my mom was visiting me in Tallahassee, we went to a local festival and came across a booth hosted by the Alzheimer's Association and our life was forever changed.
While my grandma (along with my Grandpa George, Grandpa Paul, Grandma Judy, and Great Grandma Pat) eventually lost her battle to Alzheimer's and (or another form of dementia), the Alzheimer's Association gave us a community of people across the country who understood what this journey is like.
By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
I would be honored by any donation you would be willing to give. Together, we can end Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
