Sarah was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2014 and was fearless in her fight with the disease and passed January 21, 2022.  

Sarah was active in the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association and delivered the opening speech at the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s in 2016. Even in death she continues to fight, with her wish to donate her body to scientific research at The Ohio State University, in order to one day find a cure.
