Everyone has had their lives affected by Alzheimer’s Disease.  Whether a loved one was or is inflicted with the disease or you are or were a caregiver for someone with it - you know the significant and devastating effects or it.  My father-in-law suffered from Alzheimer's and it ultimately took him. The toll it took on my mother-in-law who had to care for him for the years he declined are still felt today, more than 10 years later.  Alzheimer's isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. I am walking for him - Cono Gallo - and all those that are inflicted and affected by this disease.
