This is my 9th year doing the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's in memory of my father and I thought it was time for a facelift and update.
This year's walk will be at Westchester Community College in October like last year. While I thought the walk at SUNY Purchase was nicer, the campus is very nice and there was music playing and plenty of refreshments and food to drink and eat. It was a beautiful day and also very inspiring.
While I don't anticipate anyone to have much money, I am asking for your support. Even $5.00 is good to support the Alzheimer's Association. Last year I raised a little over $500 thanks to all of you. It was more than I anticipated, and I am grateful for your sponsorship.

My Dad was not only the best Father, but he was also my best friend, he was my Financial Advisor, he taught me how to drive, play golf and fish, I even remember the first day he showed me how to shave. I LOVED playing golf with him. He golfed with Bill Murray and Mikhail Baryshnikov. I'll never forget the day he brought Mikhail Baryshnikov home so my Mom could meet him. She flipped out!
I continue to participate in the walk against Alzheimer's to find a cure. I don't want anyone to have to go through what my Mother, 3 caregivers, and I did to maintain his quality of life. I do not want to get Alzheimer's!
I ask that you contribute any amount, even $1 will help towards research. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I love you Dad, and I still miss you very much.
