I walk in memory of my Grandma Hobbs... she was an amazingly strong woman that I have admired my entire life. She was there to help all that needed it. During her last years, it was very hard to see her go through the different stages of Alzheimer's and unfortunately we did not have the proper training to care for her. The Alzheimer's Association is not only looking for a cure but they also have resources for caregivers. Awareness is needed for those living with and caring for those with Alzheimer's.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
