My family and I will once again be walking in memory of my dad whose fight sadly ended way too soon.  Last year when our family signed up for this walk, we were walking in support of him, with the hope of a cure. Just one week before the walk we lost my dad. Needless to say the walk became so much more to our family.  We were walking to heal from our loss and remember what a huge part he was to our family. We are grateful for the memories and will hold them in our hearts forever. "Team PopPop" will be a celebration of his journey, and a tradition when we all come together to honor him. 

ALZ/dementia affects so many families and the struggle is not just with the individual alone, Every part of the family is touched by the disease.  A cure needs to be found!  You were all so supportive and generous last year, and I can’t tell you enough how that touched our hearts.  If you are able again this year to donate to Team PopPop we would so appreciate your support.
