My dad, Alan Gendler, died just over 3-years ago.  For many years, he had Alzheimer's. Our family received tremendous support and vital resources from the Alzheimer's Association.   

Though the disease took so much of my Dad from us as he declined, the beauty of Alan Gendler was that his humor, smile and warmth never faded. Nor did he lose his loving spirit.  We miss him.
