I Have Alzheimer's

If you've ever loved or knew someone with Alzheimer's or Dementia, you know this disease has many stages and how dehumanizing and demoralizing this disease can be.

The way it robs people by taking away memories, personalities, thinking or concentrating and possibly making them bedridden and unable to move or eat and possibly losing their lives. Leaving just a person's shell as you once knew.

It's devastatingly sad not just for the patient who happens to be me or for any other person that may be suffering but for their family and friends who are often left feeling frustrated, powerless, exhausted and alone.

I have Alzheimer's & Dementia and it has has touched my family and friends and I know it's heartbreaking as well.
