While we have been committed to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s for many years, in the past, we were not personally touched by the disease. Over the last few years, however, we unfortunately have watched several in our circle of friends and family deal with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
This year, “Ted and Leslie’s Virtual Walkers" is back. Our Charlotte Walk to End Alzheimer’s is scheduled for October 23rd. Although we won't be attending in person, we plan to walk in our neighborhood in "augmented reality"--connected by technology to the live program.
Sadly, Alzheimer's disease is all too real. So we are grateful to you for joining our team, and joining us in the fight.
