Once again we are walking to help find the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Please take a moment to continue to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. . We probably all know someone who is suffering from Alzheimer or another cognitive impairment.
My beautiful older sister has not been diagnosed with Alzheimer's but she suffers from cognitive impairment. She was brilliant very meticulous and an extraordinary bridge player. Several years ago the most simple things started to confound her. She would repeat herself to you and ask you the same questions repeatedly. You knew she didn't mean to and you wanted to help her but unfortunately there was little that we could do.
