I will always walk for my mom, to honor her and fight for others to not have to go through this themselves or their families. Memories hold so much weight in our lives, they are tied with love. Those are things that we never want forgotten.
This walk, each year, reminds me that I am not alone in this fight. It reminds my dad he is not alone in it. It gives me hope, creates bonds, and raises awareness to find the cure.
