I want to help find a cure for Alzheimer's so that no one has to know the pain of watching a love one slowly fade away.

We go thru life making memories, taking it for granted that we will always have those memories to call on. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case. Memories.... names.... places... life.... they slowly slip away. This has to stop!

I will never forget the day my mom forgot who I was. That day .... I was crushed!!

For years I participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and albeit a great cause, I have a special reasons for changing my goals to the Alzheimer's Association. My mom has fought this disease for many years, while dad has never left her side!
