I am walking in honor of my dad, who we lost this year a couple weeks after his 58th birthday on February 27, 2022. He loved his family, playing his guitars, watching or playing sports with his friends and children, and James Taylor (who I am lovingly named after).
I lost him once when Alzheimer's took his brain and he no longer recognized me as his daughter. I lost him twice when Alzheimer's took his body and I could no longer see him smile.
I'm raising money to find a cure so we can stop losing our loved ones over and over again to this cruel disease.
