The Bees' Knees of Maple Grove are excited for our 3rd annual Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Please join us for the walk or choose to support us with a donation.
Residents, families, and staff had the opportunity to vote on our team name in 2020 and the winner was ... The Bees' Knees of Maple Grove! We are walking as a symbol of our dedication to bring awareness, hope and a cure for Alzheimer's.
Once again, we decided to focus our walk in our neighborhood around the Hive. All participants will have two choices for the walk:
1. The Hive Walk (starts at 10:00 am) - A pleasant stroll around our building
2. Buzz Around The Block (starts at 10:30 am) - We will walk South on West Fish Lake Rd. and turn right on 80th Place N, to Shenandoah La. N, where we will connect to the Elm Creek Forest Trail for a nature walk, then out to Weaver Lake Rd. and back to the BeeHive. This will be approximately 1.75 miles.
Both walks will take place on Saturday, September 17th, with the short walk starting at 10 am and the long walk beginning at 10:30 am.
We look forward to seeing you there!
