In 2003, my grandma Ludie age 90 passed away from dementia. I miss her every day.
In 2009, my mother-in-law Maxine (Sweetie) age 80 passed away from Alzheimer's. I miss having Sunday dinners at her home.
In 2015, my mom Carmine age 83 passed away from Alzheimer's. I miss spending time with her.
By participating in the Alzheimer's Walk, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for research, care and support. This year's walk will be Sept. 12th.
Everyone reading this either knows someone with Alzheimer's, has lost someone or will in the future know someone with Alzheimer's, it could even be you.
