I need your help.

As you may know, our family has been dramatically affected by dementia. My mother, Leah, has been experiencing a symptomatic progression for years. She is now in the late stage, requiring around-the-clock care. We are amidst difficult challenges from this dreadful disease. The Alzheimer's Association has been instrumental in assisting when life throws a curve ball. Dealing with a new symptom or a breakdown in care structure, the offering of true empathy from the Association's lifeline has been a blessing.

To give back, our family continuously supports the Walk to End Alzheimer's. This journey of watching a loved one's decline can make caregivers feel completely helpless. I am taking that pain, focusing it into quill, and inviting our community to share in making a difference. We have started a team and I wish for you to be a part of The Cooperative Society's Walk. I know a financial contribution is difficult for some in our current state of heightened unemployment, but you can still make a difference. Join the team, walk in solidarity, advocate, and help us to reach our goal.
