Team Wolo'22 will walk and fundraise for the Walk to End Alzheimer's
on Sunday, October 9, in Frederick, MD. This will be our 4th year walking this Walk.
Most of us have a friend or family member with some form of dementia. Many are caregivers. Too many have lost someone to the disease.
We all agree that Alzheimer's is a frightening disease, a dreadful disease. As we grow older, we worry about memory lapses. Who is that actress? When did we say we'd meet for lunch? Where is my cell phone? Am I still driving on the right road? Growing older is not easy and it can be truly mind-boggling. No pun intended.
With your support, prayers and donations for the Alzheimer's Association, good things are happening. Advances in diagnosis, treatments and research are being made, so that one day A CURE WILL BE FOUND. I am proud to say that together with friends and family, we have raised a total of $4070.65 for our three previous ALZ Walks.
Please consider making a donation. Register to walk the Walk or just come to cheer on Team WOLO'22!
Someone WILL BE the first survivor of Alzheimer's. It could be any one of us!
Blessings,
Donna
