I'm helping to lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. 

I participate in the Walk to honor the memory of my father, Julius, who suffered through this terrible disease. I remember too many moments, among them being where he did not know me or my wife and did not know his grandchildren, who he had waited so long for! I also walk for my mom, a truly dedicated caregiver, who watched over and took care of my father for many years and sacrificed so many things in her life to take care of him. She wouldn't have it any other way!

Alzheimer's is relentless. But, together, we can help to end Alzheimer's disease.
