This year, and every year, I walk not only in memory of my Nana, but also to support the seniors I have the honor of ensuring care for on a daily basis as Director of Operations for Visiting Angels of Pikesville/Owings Mills.
I also proudly serve on the Greater Baltimore Walk Committee. Although I am committed to raising critical funds that allow the Alzheimer's Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment, and, ultimately, a cure, I truly hope that one day I won't have to walk anymore. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction.
