Eight years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and variant of dementia. The most heartbreaking of times are when these drastic changes are evident to her. The fighter inside of her still proclaims that, "I know things are happening fast, but I still want them to be as normal as possible". We all wish she knew how much we do too! Today life with Mom is very different, but we cherish every moment of clarity, laughter, hugs, and even the tears. She taught us never to give up, and with that, we will never give up on her or striving to raise awareness and a cure for Alzheimer's. On October 3rd, we will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, a cause very close to our hearts. If you are interested in donating to our walk, please follow the link off or one of our pages. Your support means the world to us and the millions more who are affected!
