My husband, Tommy, was diagnosed eight and a half years ago. He struggles to understand what's happening to him as he passes each day in an increasing state of confusion. He no longer talks of being "lost in the woods" but, rather, of wanting to “go home”. It’s beyond heartbreaking to witness and live with the deterioration this disease reeks on him.
This year, on September 16th, we celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary which holds so many memories for me and very few for him.
In honor of Tommy and our sixty years together, I’m asking for your help. No donation is too small. With your help, I truly believe and pray, that we shall one day find the means to stop, reverse, or eliminate this insidious disease.
