I walk in memory of my dear mom, Sally, who we lost in August 2018.
2022 will be our 5th Pioneer Valley Walk2EndAlz!
I was an unpaid caregiver for 3 years with my dad. The most esteemed job I have ever held. I went through my life savings and it was the best money I have ever spent. My only regret is that I didn't do more.
Alzheimer's disease devastated my family. We loved my mom so, SO much. She was our world. The scars run so deep. Images are so haunting.
I support the Alzheimer's Association through the Walk and other initiatives because they were an invaluable resource to us throughout my mom's terrifying battle. They are the largest funder of research in the world. This disease is terminal and incurable. It must be stopped.
I am completely taken aback by the generosity of my friends and family in support of the Alz Assn via Team Sally Lou. I wish there were words for me to properly thank you. Please know that your support will always be appreciated and never forgotten. Thank you.
The first survivor is out there!
