As many of you already know, I lost my beloved mother to dementia/ Alzheimer's on February 5th, 2020. I had already been mourning the loss of her sense of humor, her love of travel, shopping, her lust for life and the normal everyday things we used to share. I used to talk to my mom everyday and Alzheimer's took that away from us, among a hundred other simple little things mothers and daughters share with each other.
I will never stop raising money for this horrific disease and I pray that a cure is found soon. No one should have to see their loved one go through what I witnessed. It's not fair and no one deserves it.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please consider making a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. I know I ask every year, but it's personal and I won't stop. Every dollar counts.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
