Hello, my name is Kimberly Wells and I work at Old National Bank in the Wealth Management Department. I am the Old National Bank Team Captain for the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s scheduled for September 17 at Friedman Park in Newburgh. 

Meet my parents, Barney and Sally Jones, who both lived with Alzheimer’s Disease for years.

My father passed away in California on March 18, 2020. This is the same day the state mandated the very first shelter in place due to COVID. My mother was able to be by his side that morning but by that afternoon, the nursing home quarantine prevented my sister and I from being there.

Later that same year and still in California, my mother passed away on October 8. My sister and I had not been able to have physical contact with her since that March morning until we were by her side as she passed. My mother remembered my father from time to time and seemed to take things well when we told her that dad was with God. Both my parents were devout Christians and passed peacefully.

Alzheimer’s is an ugly disease, and I would love to be a part of its demise. That’s why I am leading the Old National Bank team. Will you stand with me in this fight by joining my team?
