As all of my friends and family know, caring for my mother with Alzheimer's has been my main focus since her diagnosis in 2010. This terrible disease has destroyed her life and that of more than 5 million other Americans. That number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. We must find a way to change the course of this horrific disease. That's why I'm participating in Lawrence's fourth Walk to End Alzheimer's® this fall--to help lead the way to finding Alzheimer's first survivor. If you are able, please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you so much for joining me in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia!
