My amazing mother lost her courageous 20-year battle with Alzheimer's in January of this year, and caring for her during that journey was the hardest thing I've ever done. This terrible disease destroyed her life, and it will do the same to the more than 6 million other Americans living with dementia right now. That number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050, so I want to help find a way to change the course of this horrific disease. That's why I'm participating in the fourth annual Walk to End Alzheimer's® in Lawrence on October 22, 2022--to help lead the way to finding Alzheimer's first survivor. If you are able, please join my team and walk with us this fall! If you are unable to walk, please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you so much for joining me in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia!
