Most of you know that my dad, Willie Naragon, suffered with Alzheimer's prior to his death. It has been 5 years since we lost him. My family began participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's last year. To those that were so kind and donated to our walk ...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! Your generosity did not go unnoticed. We will be "Walkin' for Willie" again this year and have determined that as long as we are able, we will continue to honor Dad/Grandpa/Great Grandpa by participating...It's the least we can do. While the Alzheimer's walk is virtual this year, it is still being held and we will be out walking on September 13th.
My family and countless others know first hand what a cruel disease Alzheimer's is and the pain it causes physically, mentally and emotionally. It does not just affect the person it attacks, but all those who know and love that person as well.
If you can find it in your heart to support us with our walk either again this year or for the first time, it would be appreciated more than you know. Whatever you can give, whether $1.00 or $1 million (hehe) will not go to waste - Every penny counts!
If you are not in a position to donate, please keep our walk and all those affected by Alzheimer's and their families in your prayers.
Thank you all so much and may God bless you and keep you all safe and well!
