As greeters of this great city, the Indianapolis Airport Authority invests in meaningful partnerships that enhance our community through engagement and service, while continually delivering a world-class experience to create public value.
As our population ages, our community is increasingly impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Our IAA family includes colleagues who are current and former caregivers. Many of us routinely engage daily with travelers who have dementia or who have a companion impacted by dementia.
That’s why the IAA is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to advance research and provide free caregiver resources to all. We are proud to share that the IAA is the official sponsor of the 2022 Indianapolis Walk to End Alzheimer’s Promise Garden, an enduring feature and meaningful symbol of the Walk.
While our team will distribute thousands of Promise Garden flowers and caregiver resources at the Indianapolis Walk, our commitment doesn’t stop there. In early Fall, we will “plant” pop up Promise Gardens throughout the airport to provide free, nationally-available caregiver tools to all our travelers. This is another way your IAA is defining “Hoosier Hospitality” and supporting our guests and colleagues.
We hope you will consider joining and/or supporting our Walk team. No one should walk – or fly – this journey alone. With our help, they won’t have to.
