This year we are walking 10/1/2022 to honor both my mother, Donna Padget and Ed's mother, Shirley Kileen.  Dementia affected them both and impacted our entire family for a long period of time.  They will not be forgotten and we will continue the fight. 

 Unfortunately, Alzheimer’s continues to negatively impact so many families. Therefore, Ed & I intend to continue to support the relentless fight against this disease for as long as we are able.  

My family has Walked to End Alzheimer's as a team for several years and they know that that one annual gathering means so much to me.   So I hope you can join us in taking a Walk to End Alzheimer's this year.  We'll start at 10:00 AM in the parking area of the North extension of the Sangamon Valley Bike Trail on Rte 29.  Wear your purple!  Lastly, don't forget to join our team and/or donate!
