Dear family and friends,
I continue to fight for a cure to this awful disease that has deeply affected my family. I began doing this walk 14 years ago when my grandmother Eleanor was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Even though both of my grandmothers are gone, I continue to fight for a cure for Alzheimer's.
Last year, I was too overwhelmed by the pandemic (and having my children doing remote learning) that I made a donation to the Alzheimer's Association instead of fundraising. But this year, I'm trying to fundraise again.
By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease —funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or join me for the walk in September. If you can't donate, I always appreciate your prayers and support. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
With sincere gratitude,
Kathy
