I’m walking to honor my mom who lost her battle with this terrible disease. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Finding a cure will help to prevent others from losing a parent or loved one to Alzheimer’s. I miss my mom.
