Mom was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) and Severe Dementia. Unlike other forms of PPA that result from stroke or brain injury, PPA is caused by neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's Disease or Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration.
I am walking to honor our Mother, "Patricia Ann Kelley Worley" and for all those affected by this terrible disease.
