Numbers and statistics can't tell the true story of Alzheimer's. It robs families of precious memories and causes distress for both those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and their families. Grandparents may not recognize grandchildren, or can't remember milestone moments. The love shared in special moments is forgotten very quickly, because Alzheimer's robs it's victims of the ability to remember.
